Fall Protection Training Edmonton | Touchback Safety
Course Overview
Our Fall Protection course runs for 6.5 hours and provides certification that is valid for 3 years. We offer on-site training upon request, so your team can get certified without leaving the worksite.
We offer two versions of this course. Therefore, it is important to select the right one before you register.
Version 1 — Energy Safety Canada (ESC) Fall Protection — $170.00
The ESC Fall Protection course is a mandatory requirement for workers on Oil Sands sites or those affiliated with the Building Trades Union. So if either of these applies to you, this is the course you need.
Because ESC certification is widely required across Alberta’s energy sector, we recommend verifying with your employer or worksite before registering.
Version 2 — OHS Compliant Fall Protection — $145.00
Our OHS Compliant Fall Protection course meets all OHS regulations and CSA standards. This program was previously accredited by OSSA. However, OSSA accreditation has since been phased out by ESC.
Because Touchback designed this program to the same high standards, it remains equivalent to the previously OSSA-accredited program.
Need a BC Endorsed Certificate?
We now offer an additional session covering BC Regulations for an extra $20.00. This add-on is available with the OHS Compliant version of the course.
Please let us know when you register. If you register online, include a note in the comments section so we can add it to your booking.
Blended Learning Option Available
The OHS Compliant version is available in a Blended Learning format. Blended learning combines online theory with hands-on practical training. Therefore, it works best for workers who already have prior fall protection training.
However, new workers will gain more from our full Instructor Led course. So if your team is new to fall protection, we recommend the instructor led option.
